Salam By Peace word I start and say, Peace for all People around the world
Mmmm! I've forgotten something called [Submit Art] and feel my gallery is full of dust!
HERE Peace in Various Languages It's a simple word, but it packs a lot of meaning!! I know this design is not an event, but anyway if you have nothing to do, take some nuts and look for your language here
I'd like to mention: While browsing the Web, I have read some of peace definitions from standpoint of some people, and have earned my admiration indeed! Thus decided to add these definitions in this work. I thank them absentia for my inspiration and I really will be very happy if one of them passed here haply.
Well, here what I quoted by: Peace means to me the highest quality of people living together. It includes tolerance, acceptance, understanding, dialogue, solidarity, caring, happiness Daniela , Austria ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Peace, as I perceive it, is an ongoing process which should remain with each and every individual at all times. I do not think that peace is something that one achieves like anyone would achieve success. Rather I think peace is more similar to the sun. In other words, it is something no one can do without. Peace is something which should always be part of us. Unika , Nepal ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Thank you my anonymous Daniela and Unika

This is stunning & beautiful! ♥ I love the message that you made with this, it's timeless and necessary for all current generations. I love the second quote you have in the description as well, my favorite part being "I think peace is more similar to the sun. In other words, it is something that no one can do without. Peace is something which should always be part of us." This is a powerful and profound message, thank you for making this beautiful artwork ♥ ♥

Yay, Polish! If I can give some tips (maybe for the future), the word you rather want here would be "Pokój" (well, it means pretty much the same so it's translated the same, but "Pokój" is when you have no war and "Spokój" is when there's no noise or people around, when it's calm and peaceful). "Pokój" is sometimes also translated as "a room", but don't be bothered, Polish is full of freaky synonyms. Oh, and you missed the line over the 'o' -> 'ó'. It's not a big mistake, since you don't have any Polish diacritic letters on your keyboard (as I suppose), yet it's something noticeable.
I hope you're not upset for that piece of nagging It's truly a great piece (peace? ) and I absolutely adore it!
Thank you reaching here! I'm pleased (: It is an honor just if you passed of here, so how the case if you comment and picked my work to include your favorites gallery!! That's the great generosity! Thank you so much.
This is a hard subject as its mostly religiously motivated :/ . Many fall into that fold of this whole Islam Vs. U.S.A. Which isn't what it is at all. I don't want to start an argument. I would refer you to my small journal posts about religion if your interested.
Simply speaking I think Peace should be equated to life as it is precieved in Futurama. Matt Groaning created a world where all religions and races get along in tolerance of each other. There is no arguing on which is correct. It just works. "You gotta do what you gotta do." (phrase from the show). But as stated tolerance grows to acceptance grows to peace grows to progress in bigger and better ways.
Money wasted on fighting a religious war is better placed where it can help more people then spent on fighting.
Peace is a behavior must be followed by everyone even get rid of this waste of thought which hurt the entire world. Futurama wanted to send a good message, but whatever! it's just a cartoon series in their eyes. You or I might get affected by this and wish if it was a reality we live, but those who staying the wars, of course just care to win the war for their favor and not to implement Futurama story. We have become hating to insert religion in everything!!! Shortly "We are only dream" It's really strange! Peace is not a dilemma equation!!!
Agreed. The idea of the war is a front for the policital system. THe majority of what can be called the "underground" or "public" should believe in tolerance and is not for the war. Its a bunch of grump, over muscled people, fighting to keep up appearances. Insurgance look for attention. Without giving them attention we can cause a rift and they will be silenced. With that said the armies will stop their fight and move on. Army budgets are over inflated and the loss of life is never an acceptable option. There will always be those unenlightened that push the buttons of certain people or races and they are ignorant to the 21st century world (as is the warriors of Islam, not a dig at you just and observation which also goes for other over opinionated people of other religions basing their lives behind a book). The 21st century world is filled with accpetance of other races, sexes, colors, and so should be religions. Peaceful co-existance is a goal not a prize from war.
Agree with you, Imagine if no wars! There will be a world in which justice, plenty, abundance, well-being, security, tolerance, compassion, mercy, and loyalty, peace, and brotherhood will prevail among humanity. Let's not touch people's beliefs, this is the freedom of individuals, Has to stop to say about This Muslim, this is a Christian, a Jew, this is a Buddhist, etc. These things are not in our hands and we have no right to speak it. Therefore we should not defect them. defect only on the behavior of people and if that was issue of religion it's ok, all characteristics of the peace are exists in all religions. The religion is not an argument! It's really funny! As you mentioned above, we are in an era where we accept all races and colors, let us also accept all religions. The real war is a minds war, and then kill people and waste money because of rampant stupidity!
Actually it is in our hands for religion. We can choose to stop believing in one religion and believe in another (at least you can in the USA, not sure how it is over there). I agree with your post about rampant stupidity. At this point the money that could be spent on the war could be spent building a better world, space travel, better education, clean up poverty, fix economy, displace evil dictators, and what not.
At this point the war has gotten to be a sickening topic to talk about over here and how we are the only ones who seems to be up in arms about trying to clean up the menace of the extremists. It affects everyone.
Yet another reason that noone like us Americans. We stand up to defend those who can't otherwise defend themselves and if we left them alone they would call to us for help anyway. We give aid and support and money and our hearts and souls to the entire world and noone is grateful. The US donates more money during disasters, problems, and other issues then any other country in teh world and yet we are called selfish and brutish. I take offense to that because we are a tight knit group of people made up of just the same people that criticize us.
America is a science experiment for the world and now that it is succeeding and doing more than most, many are jealous or angry. We maybe hated but there is a reason why 3 million people a year try and sneak into the USA.
We are more then just an army. We are a group of compassionate people. Its time to wake up from the dark ages. As I said before. Its the 21st century. People, cultures, practices, and customs have changed. And so must we.
I was reading through the conversation and being American (and Muslim) I thought I'd put in my two cents - though this notion of "us" as benign actors on the world stage is honestly ridiculous. We're an economic power that uses force to replace democratic movements with dictatorships when we believe it to be in our "best interests" (which is why people hate "us" - if you don't believe me read up on recent South American history, Howard Zinn has a good book on it). Whats really sad and depressing is that its not in our best interest but in the best interest of huge corporations that our shipping our jobs over-seas....
While we're busy bombing Lybia supposedly to knock out Qaddafi (its about oil) - our good friends the Saudis are busily crushing the Bahrains' peaceful protesters. While Mubarak was killing democratic Egyptians we were on the fence about what side to take (and we're still funding their repressive military)...Is there a reason why we're involved in Iraq and Afghanistan and not in some of the conflicts in Africa? The main difference between the regions we're actively involved and those areas we're not is natural resources. The world doesn't want to be policed by us. It is worth noting that Americans as a people (looked at aside from their political system) are amazing people - and as you note incredibly generous.
Its not about religion, its about imperialism, power and economics. I think people should discuss religion (I'm far from perennialism) - and I also think people regardless of where they are have a right to shape their societies to their liking rather than us imposing a Western European (American) narrative upon them. If I've said anything offensive forgive me, I feel strongly on the topic. Sam Richards (Sociologist) is quite good at explaining where I'm coming from [link]
